Heil Yardbird / Superduty Dump Body

Heil’s Yardbird is the Light Duty choice for contractors and municipal users
who don’t want to compromise on quality and durability. The Yardbird
features Heil’s DuraClassŪ design, with a continuous formed body sidewall
and fully enclosed top rail for superior resistance to moisture and
corrosion. The double-wall body side, full depth rear corner posts and enclosed front corner
posts, plus Heil’s famous interlaced subframe give Yardbird uncommon strength and rigidity for
a smaller dump body.

The 1520 Hoist is standard on Yardbird, with a powerful 5-inch cylinder, heavy duty platform
hinge, and choice of electric or PTO drive. Convenience is also standard on Yardbird...with
features like the quick-release upper tailgate pins and single handle release.


Yardbird is available in sizes from 2 yd3 to 4.5 yd3 and lengths from 8 to 12 feet, in standard high
tensile steel construction. Other steel choices and options are available, so you can build your
